To co-design, prepare, execute and analyse output of practical experiments, in line with the department, R&D project and functional standards. Can act as member of a project team, contributing to the realization of objectives of research/development/support projects.

- Deliver project results on time, ensuring quality and feasibility, according to business needs
- Correct use of methodologies, tools and systems
- Protection of AkzoNobel technologies

- Maintain and promotes a safe work environment, complies with safety policies and procedures. Follows safe work practices for personal and equipment safety, in both the laboratory and in the field. End results are zero or minimum safety incidents and a clean,orderly working environment
- Conduct a significant level of formulation or technical work (in the lab) as defined in the project plan
- Ask appropriate questions to clarify requirements, expectations and critical performance parameters
- Documents (lab) results, visits, etc. through appropriate reporting systems
- Familiar with and applies relevant experimental, development and/or analytical approaches and techniques

- Bachelor's Degree or above, major in chemistry, chemical technology, environmental, statistics, data science or relevant field
- 3-5 years experience in Coating R&D
- Good command of English and Chinese
- Good team player, skillful in problem solving
- Experience with ERP system be preferred
