As an Income Auditor, you're not just ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the hotel's financial transactions - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Ensure accurate financial records: Balance and code the previous day's transactions, preparing daily operating sales and labor summaries
• Verify and audit transactions: Review night audit reports, ensure sales journal accuracy, and analyze all adjustments
• Reconcile banquet revenue: Audit banquet tickets and match them with banquet orders to ensure proper billing
• Monitor financial adjustments: Track and route rebates, miscellaneous charges, promotional tickets, and paid outs
• Maintain recordkeeping: File and archive financial documents in compliance with tax authority requirements
• Collaborate for success: Assist team members and other departments as needed
