Senior AI Full Stack Product Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing legal technology company focused on building AI-powered SaaS platforms for the legal industry. Their flagship platform streamlines the full lifecycle of bankruptcy case management—from lead generation and client intake to document collection, legal workflows, communication, accounting, and post-filing processes. As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a Senior AI Full-Stack Product Engineer to help build, enhance, and scale multiple AI-driven legal technology products for nationwide adoption by law firms across the United States.

Role Overview

The Senior AI Full-Stack Product Engineer will work directly alongside the founder to build and scale AI-powered SaaS products for the legal industry. The Senior AI Full-Stack Product Engineer will translate product concepts, AI-generated prototypes, and workflows into production-ready applications while developing scalable frontend and backend systems, implementing AI integrations, building APIs, and improving automation across multiple legal technology platforms. This role is ideal for a highly technical, product-minded engineer who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and enjoys taking ownership from concept through deployment.

Key ResponsibilitiesAI SaaS Product Development

• Build and enhance AI-powered SaaS applications and internal platforms.

  
  

• Translate founder ideas, workflows, and storyboards into production-ready product features.

  
  

• Replicate and improve workflows created using AI-assisted development tools.

  
  

• Rapidly prototype and iterate on new product functionality.

  
  

Full-Stack Engineering

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend systems across multiple SaaS products.

  
  

• Build dashboards, workflows, automations, client portals, and internal tools.

  
  

• Implement scalable application architecture and clean development practices.

  
  

• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and improve platform reliability.

  
  

API Integrations & Automation

• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.

  
  

• Build integrations with platforms such as Twilio, SendGrid, Google Meet, BoldSign, and similar services.

  
  

• Implement workflow automation and complex business logic.

  
  

• Ensure secure authentication, reliable API connectivity, and seamless data flow.

  
  

AI & Workflow Systems

• Develop AI-powered workflows using modern LLM technologies.

  
  

• Optimize AI prompts, workflow logic, and automation reliability.

  
  

• Support AI-assisted document processing and communication workflows.

  
  

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through AI.

  
  

Collaboration & Product Execution

• Work directly with the founder during product planning and implementation sessions.

  
  

• Participate in collaborative Zoom and Google Meet product reviews.

  
  

• Operate with a high level of ownership and accountability.

  
  

• Recommend technical improvements and product enhancements.

  
  

QualificationsExperience

• 4+ years of experience in full-stack software development.

  
  

• Experience building SaaS products and web applications.

  
  

• Experience working in startup or fast-paced product environments.

  
  

• Experience implementing APIs and automation systems.

  
  

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and AI workflows is strongly preferred.

  
  

Skills

• Strong full-stack software engineering capabilities.

  
  

• Strong understanding of scalable SaaS architecture.

  
  

• Experience building frontend applications using React and Next.js.

  
  

• Experience building backend systems using Node.js, Python, Express, or FastAPI.

  
  

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.

  
  

• Experience working with PostgreSQL, Firebase, Supabase, MongoDB, or similar databases.

  
  

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and system integrations.

  
  

• Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, Claude APIs, or similar AI services.

  
  

• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
