Develops clinical roadmaps for specific application areas based on healthcare trends and market insights.
Provides expert input to support product strategy, marketing decisions, and clinical policy development.
Bridges market needs and internal teams by identifying unmet clinical demands and promoting best practices and success stories.

Your role:

• Participates in the development of comprehensive clinical roadmaps for specific application areas, leveraging in-depth knowledge of clinical trends, technical possibilities, market segmentation, and healthcare developments.

  
  
  

• Participates in marketing and development strategy meetings, contributing expert insights on product policies and clinical trends to guide strategic decisions, working under limited supervision.

  
  
  

• Facilitates the sharing of successful or innovative projects, transforming them into clinical and business proof points that demonstrate Philips' leadership in medical technology.

  
  
  

• Communicate unmet clinical needs of the local market to internal teams, providing valuable insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.

  
  
  

• Presents clinical research findings and innovative project outcomes during customer presentations, site visits, and marketing or academic events to support product validation and market adoption.

  
  
  

• Evaluates emerging medical technologies and clinical applications, assessing their potential impact and viability to guide Philips' innovation pipeline.

  
  
  

• Collaborates with R&D, marketing, sales, and service teams to integrate clinical research findings into product enhancements and strategic initiatives.

  
  
  

• Monitors advancements in clinical science and healthcare trends, sharing insights with internal teams to inform strategic decisions and maintain Philips' competitive edge.

  
  
  

• Consults on the design and execution of clinical trials, providing expert advice to ensure robust and reliable data collection that supports product development and regulatory compliance.

  
  
  

• Establishes a global network of peer contacts within the scientific community, actively strengthening relationships to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  
  
  

• Stays updated on innovations in medical applications and technologies to support the development of clinical roadmaps and ensure Philips remains at the forefront of industry advancements.

  
  
  

You're the right fit if:

• Degree in Physics, Engineering or similir technical degree

  
  
  

• Deep MR technical knowledge

  
  
  

• Experience in research projects including MR technology

  
  
  

• PhD in Physics, Engineering or similir technical degree

  
  
  

• Clinical applications of MR technology

  
  
  

• Programming capabilities in C, Python, ...

How we work together

For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.​ Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.​
