The Application Support Engineer is responsible for configuring, enhancing, and maintaining critical applications so they are reliable, scalable and compliant.  The role leverages their expert understanding of technical solutions to optimize processes and improve the organizational productivity and efficiency.  

This position reports to the Smart Manufacturing System Owner and is part of the Enterprise Applications Team located in Bengaluru, India and will be an on-site role.   

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

• Support and optimize GxP systems (eQMS, LIMS)
• Configure, administer, and continuously improve workflows, roles, forms, and data structures to support compliant business processes
• Support and enhance system functionality
• Manage system changes, integrations, and releases while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual work
• Act as escalation point for issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions

The essential requirements of the job include: 

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business, Computer Science or a related field 

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in Application Support Engineering (including advanced support and system administration)  

• Experience with Enterprise Applications. 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

• Smart Manufacturing Applications such as LIMS, eQMS, and MES 

• Experience in regulated environments, preferably SOX, FDA and GMP 

• Highly collaborative with success in a matrixed and globally distributed environment
