Automation QA Engineer

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Automation QA Engineer in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. • Design, develop and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  
• Develop and execute mobile automation testing using Appium for Android and iOS applications.
  
• Create robust and maintainable XPath locators for web and mobile applications.
  
• Analyze business requirements and develop comprehensive automation test scenarios.
  
• Execute functional, regression, smoke and integration testing.
  
• Track and validate defects using JIRA.
  
• Improve existing automation frameworks and troubleshoot automation failures.
  
• Support automation execution through CI/CD pipelines and explore AI-assisted testing tools.
  

• Java – Automation scripting and framework development.
  
• Selenium WebDriver – Web automation testing.
  
• Appium – Mobile automation testing.
  
• XPath – Dynamic locator creation.
  
• JIRA – Defect tracking and test management.
  

• CI/CD pipeline knowledge
  
• Agile/Scrum methodology
  
• AI-assisted testing tools
  

Experience is not specified in the job posting. Typical requirement: 3–6 years of experience in Automation Testing using Java, Selenium and Appium within Agile software development environments.

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (Typical)
  
• Preferred: BE/B.Tech/MCA (Typical)
  
• Additional Certifications: ISTQB Certification (Typical)
