Job Title : Boiler Attendant -Utility

Entity : Evonik Catalyst India Pvt. Ltd

Work Location : Dombivli East, MIDC Phase 1

Purpose of the Position :

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of boilers as per IBR rules.

Key Responsibilities :

• Overseeing the safe operations of high-pressure boilers of 2 and 2.5 tons.

  
  

• Ensuring log books are properly maintained with proper shift handover report.

  
  

• Co-ordinate with subcontractor for boiler tube cleaning & suit removal from boiler chimney.

  
  

• Operation and Maintenance of Boiler.

  
  

• To Strictly follow and implement on ESHQ guidelines

  
  

• Updating day to day activities / problem arising / trouble shooting to the department head.

  
  

• Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports as per ISO standards.

  
  

• Maintaining housekeeping in boiler area.

  
  

• Day to day monitoring of stack and reporting for any abnormalities.

  
  

• Day to day monitoring of Bag House and reporting for any abnormalities.

  
  

• Follow the ESH rules and regulations applicable to the area of working.

  
  

• Report near miss and any other incident immediately.

  
  

• Maintained good housekeeping in working area.

  
  

• Use and maintain required personal protective equipment.

  
  

• Participate in various ESH training and activities.

  
  

REQUIREMENTS

• ITI with 1st Class Boiler attendant certification having minimum 03 years of experience in operation of Medium & High-Pressure Steam Boilers.

  
  

• Candidate should be familiar with MS Office for documentation purpose.

  
  

• Sound knowledge of boiler operation and its maintenance.

  
  

• Basic knowledge of Environmental protection units and legal requirements applicable for boiler.
