As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and collaborating to design and develop new data models that meet evolving business needs. This position requires continuous interaction and coordination to ensure that data models align with organizational goals and support efficient data management and utilization across projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to ensure data models are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and shared understanding.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Generative AI.
- Experience in designing and implementing data models that support complex business processes.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data requirements and translate them into effective data structures.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data models with applications and systems.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices to ensure data quality and compliance.
- Skilled in evaluating and optimizing data models for performance and scalability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Generative AI.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
