DevOps Engineer

About The Role 

A DevOps Engineer is responsible for streamlining and automating the processes involved in software development, deployment, and maintenance. This role emphasizes collaboration, integration, and communication between software developers and IT operations professionals to enhance the efficiency of development and operational workflows. The DevOps Engineer focuses on building and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that facilitate continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), ensuring high-quality software delivery with minimal downtime
How Will You It

1. Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and on-premises systems. Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (such as Terraform or CloudFormation) to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
2. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software build, test, and deployment processes. Streamline workflows to ensure quick and reliable software releases while minimizing errors and manual interventions.
3. Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance, application health, and user experience. Analyze metrics and logs to identify issues and optimize system performance for reliability and scalability.
4. Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration between development, operations, and other stakeholders. Act as a liaison to facilitate communication and ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
5. Configuration Management: Use configuration management tools (such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) to automate the deployment and management of applications and services across various environments.
6. Security and Compliance: Integrate security practices into the DevOps processes (DevSecOps) to ensure that applications and infrastructure comply with security standards and best practices. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
7. Incident Management: Respond to and troubleshoot production incidents, working collaboratively with development and operations teams to resolve issues quickly. Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
8. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and system architecture. Ensure that knowledge is shared within the team to support onboarding and continuous improvement.
9. Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and implement best practices for DevOps processes, tools, and methodologies. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the organization’s DevOps capabilities.

2. Experinece - Min 5yrs of exp required
3. Skills - Azure Clould, Azure Devops (CI/CD), Kubernet, Terraform, Keycloack, Finops, Azure Networking.
4. Communication Skill -  Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with stakeholders across all levels.
