DevOps Engineer (Industrial Digital Solutions)

Job Description:

• Cloud Infrastructure: Maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS (using services like EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc).

  
  
  

• Container Orchestration: Deploy and manage Kafka and related microservices within containerized environments using Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.

  
  
  

• Automation & IaC: Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management scripts using Ansible and Terraform to automate cluster provisioning, scaling, and patching.

  
  
  

• CI/CD Integration: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins) for automated deployments and testing of stream-processing applications.

  
  
  

• Monitoring & Alerting: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting for the Kafka ecosystem using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk.

  
  
  

• Performance Tuning: Monitor cluster performance, optimize AWS resources/ costs.

  
  
  

• Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, including RBAC, ACLs, TLS/SSL encryption, and secure secret management.

  
  
  

• Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, data engineers, and architects to support the integration of Kafka into enterprise applications.

  
  
  

• Experience: 4+ years in DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure, with a minimum of 2 years specifically focused on Jenkins, EKS pipeline.

  
  
  

• Cloud Platforms: Proven hands-on experience designing and managing infrastructure on AWS.

  
  
  

• Containers & Orchestration: Strong proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for deploying and scaling stateless and stateful applications.

  
  
  

• Configuration Management: Extensive experience writing playbooks and modules in Ansible for automated server configuration.

  
  
  

• CI/ CD: At least 2 years of experience with Jenkins, SonarQube.

  
  
  

• Scripting & Coding: Strong scripting abilities in Python or Bash.

  
  
  

• Linux/Unix: Advanced Linux system administration, networking, and troubleshooting skills, especially with AWS VPC and Subnets.
