Could you be the Digital Designer we’re looking for? 

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Produce 3D models & assemblies based on technical inputs and sketches.

ORGANISATION

• Organization structure (job belongs to.) RSC Global Engineering / Advanced Creative Design (A&CD)

Reports directly to:

• Digital Design Leader

Other reporting to:

Direct reports: Network & Links

• Internal : A&CD team: Head, Director, Managers, Designers, project managers, Engineering, Project Management

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Ensure the consistency of the input data before the first sketches.
• In pairs with a designer in charge of modelling all or part of a train as close as possible to the original intention of the designer while integrating the technical inputs. Participating in production of deliverables in accordance with planning targets on Advanced & Creative Design assigned work-packages.
• Alert and animate about the progress of the 3D vis-à-vis the pilot
• Ensure the consistency of the digital model and the storage in the database
• Checking respect of Allocated volumes/interfaces and sketches from the designer.
• Reporting on 3d modelling activities progress, anticipating issues (capacity, skills, rule applicability, etc.) and alerting if needed.
• Respecting and following the AT rules and guidelines for Industrial Design deliverables and working

Educational Requirements

Mandatory: Graduated from Design school / university

Desirable: Master’s degree or equivalent

Experience :

Mandatory:

• Knowledge in industrial design
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Digital design domain
• Experience knowledge in industrialization processes
• Perfect mastery of design tools, modelling software
• (ALIAS Studio & Surface)
• Desirable: Knowledge of railway

Competencies & Skills: Team working, Agile, reactive and creative, Passion for transportation design, Focused on perceived quality, English written and spoken, business level.
