Job Opening for Electronics System Engineer at Larsen & Toubro PES

L&T is India’s biggest private company supplying defense equipment’s with over 40 years of experience in this field. We provide indigenous, design to deliver solutions across defense spectrum from land based weapon systems, air defense and artillery systems, unmanned systems, naval weapon systems, communication systems, avionics, C4I and missile systems.

L&T is developing Tactical / MALE Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, swarming systems and solutions. These unmanned platforms provide a technological edge to forces on ground and greatly contribute to our security. Current role is towards the development efforts of these platforms, from inception to user trials and offers immense job satisfaction.     

Responsibilities:

1. System and architecture design
2. Generate and maintain system and subsystem requirements
3. Generate system level design documents like Bill of Material, Wiring Chart, Harness Drawings, Assembly drawings etc.
4. Selection of subsystems
5. Power budget, weight budget, FMECA calculation.
6. System integration and testing like SILS, HILS
7. Co-ordination with various stake holders

Requirements:

1. Proficient knowledge on communication protocols like CAN, SPI, TCP/UDP, UART, I2C etc.
2. Strong knowledge of electronics / embedded system design
3. Experience with electronics schematic design.
4. Good to have knowledge on Unit / integration testing.
5. Hands on experience with UAV components like INS, servo, motors, GPS, datalink etc.
6. Strong knowledge on qualification requirements like MIL-STD 810 / JSS55555 and MIL STD 461

Academic Background:

1. B. Tech. / M. Tech. in Electronics / Electrical Engineering

1. Location: Mumbai
2. Travel: 40% of the time depending on requirement
