Role Summary

• The Customer support Engineer is responsible for preparation of Proposal, Costing for Water treatment systems involving fabrication based products. 
• He shall be working in the water treatment industry with basic knowledge of STP, WTP & ETP systems. 
• Role involves intensive knowledge of package engineering, Costing, understanding of fabrication, execution & customer interactions.

Essential Responsibilities / Expectations

• Shall prepare costing & proposal of water treatment systems, including package equipment & fabricated products. 

  
  

• Shall be able to prepare layout & assembly drawings 

  
  

• Knowledge on Commercial, Institutional & Industrial wastewater treatment. 

  
  

• Standardize technical projections and pricing related documents to support the Sales team and improve the cycle time 

  
  

• Shall have experience with design & costing of fabricated equipment, pumps, valves & other package equipment. 

  
  

• Shall be conversant with reading technical specifications and setting up quality requirements of Products and monitoring vendor quality processes, 

  
  

• Shall have knowledge of compliance on codes & standards viz., ASME, ASTM., 

  
  

• Shall have thorough knowledge on metal & non-metallic material standards and applications. 

  
  

• Shall have knowledge of Manufacturing processes viz., Cutting, grinding techniques, welding processes viz., SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW etc. 

  
  

• Shall have knowledge in testing requirements specified complying with international codes & standards. 

  
  

• Hands on experience with Acad, Microsoft office and SAP tools.

  
  

• Knowledge in google platform & AWS platform preferred.

  
  

• Knowledge on Electrical, Instrumentation and control systems applicable for water and wastewater Schemes

  
  

B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical.

Min 6 Years and Max 10 Years of experience in Project & Equipment Engineering / Proposal / Costing / Product Management / Factory operations in Heavy equipment manufacturing / EPC organizations related to Water treatment systems.
