1. Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute formwork activities for concrete structures (dam, powerhouse, tunnels, etc.)
• Prepare formwork schemes and sequencing
• Ensure availability of required materials, tools, and manpower
• Coordinate with planning team for execution schedules

2. Formwork & Shuttering Management

• Supervise erection, alignment, and dismantling of formwork systems
• Work with various systems (conventional, steel, aluminium, modular formwork)
• Ensure proper staging, centering, and scaffolding arrangements
• Monitor reuse cycles and maintenance of formwork materials

3. Quality Control

• Check line, level, verticality, and dimensions before concreting
• Ensure surface finish requirements are met
• Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and tolerances

4. Safety Management

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments for formwork and scaffolding work
• Ensure proper working-at-height safety measures
• Implement permit-to-work systems
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings

5. Manpower & Resource Management

• Manage carpenters, helpers, and subcontractor teams
• Allocate workforce based on priorities
• Monitor productivity and efficiency
• Ensure proper utilization of materials and reduction of wastage.

• Coordinate with:
  • Civil execution team
  • Reinforcement (rebar) team
  • QA/QC department
  • Safety department
• Ensure readiness before concrete pours

• Maintain records of:
  • Formwork materials
  • Shuttering consumables
• Monitor material usage and stock
• Implement cost control measures

• Maintain daily progress reports
• Track formwork cycle time
• Record issues, delays, and corrective actions
• Update reports in ERP / project systems
