Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee-Accounts Payable Responsibilities: - Identifying & understanding the open/reconciling items. - Investigation and follow-up for resolution. - Liaison with Accounts Receivable Inventory team Accounting & reporting team Local Finance Customer service group Vendors Controllership Tax team and other departments. - Ensures accurate accounting records for receipts disbursements and other accounting transactions. - Applying Accepted Procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records - Good understanding of basic accountancy. - Should have knowledge of 2-way and 3-way match PO and Non-PO Invoice accounting. - Relevant years of experience in invoice processing. - Identifying & understanding the open/reconciling items - Investigation and follow-up for resolution. - Able to identify purchase order items with differences between goods receipts and invoice receipts and try to reconcile. - Perform regular GR/IR account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Identify investigate and resolve discrepancies between goods received and invoices. - Maintain good relationships with vendors through effective communication regarding invoice discrepancies and payment issues. - Prepare and present reports detailing the status of the GR/IR account including any discrepancies and the steps taken to resolve them. - Continually review and improve the GR/IR reconciliation process to increase efficiency and accuracy.
