Job Objective Market Research & Feasibility Financial Analysis & Deal Structuring Strategy & Development Business Development & Client Engagement Presentations & Reporting Essential Job Tasks Strong proficiency in financial modelling and investment analysis, including NPV, IRR, and DCF methodologies.
In-depth understanding of real estate deal structures, including multi-tiered promote structures, financing, operating guarantees, and joint ventures.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and tailor messaging (both verbal and written) to different stakeholders.
Sound knowledge of market dynamics, economic conditions, and industry trends, with the ability to critically analyze data and derive actionable insights.
Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for developing analytical models, reports, and presentations.
Good understanding of Finance, Economics, Business, Hotel Management, or a related discipline.
5 years of progressive experience in real estate or hospitality financial analysis, forecasting, data analytics, or similar domains, with demonstrated expertise in both technical and business functions.
Areas of Responsibility Conduct detailed market research and competitive benchmarking through field visits, site inspections, and secondary data analysis •    Perform comprehensive market feasibility studies, including analysis of occupancy, ADR, supply-demand trends, and future market outlook •    Assess project viability by forecasting performance metrics for proposed developments •    Evaluate proposed transactions through pro-forma projections and financial modeling •    Analyze deal structures and support underwriting of projects •    Develop deal value calculators to assist in fee estimation, NPV analysis, and initial deal screening •    Formulate brand positioning and recommend appropriate facilities programs •    Define development strategies for new brands and expansion into emerging markets •    Support the development team in deal pitches, negotiations, and transaction documentation •    Assist in new client / owner acquisition initiatives •    Participate in site evaluations for potential projects •    Provide support for renewal and re-negotiation of existing operating hotel agreements •    Develop high-impact development and marketing presentations •    Prepare customized responses to RFPs in alignment with company and brand requirements •    Update India brand presentations on a periodic basis (quarterly / as required) Required Qualifications Work Experience Years of Experience - 5 years Domain Knowledge - NPV, IRR, and DCF methodologies Preferred Industry - Hospitality Languages Needed in Position English & Hindi Key Interfaces- External Key Interfaces- Internal Behavioural Competencies Change Championship Collaborative Engagement Growth Mindset Guest Centricity Personal Effectiveness Process Excellence Result Orientation Talent Enrichment Equal Opportunities Employment at IHCL At IHCL, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
