Power BI developer

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards aligned to business requirements
• Design and implement data models and DAX measures to deliver business insights
• Ingest, transform, and visualise data from SQL, Excel, SharePoint, and other sources
• Perform report enhancements, issue resolution, and ongoing improvements
• Manage Power BI Report Server / Service deployments including publishing and refresh monitoring
• Handle BAU support tickets, resolving issues independently or escalating where needed
• Collaborate with data engineers on end-to-end data pipelines involving Power BI
• Ensure reports meet performance, usability, and governance standards
• Maintain documentation, data definitions, and reporting artefacts
• Contribute to report rationalisation and identify unused or redundant reports

What You Know:

• 6-9 years of experience with power BI or BI reporting tools.
• Strong experience with Power BI Desktop and Service
• Good understanding of SQL and data querying
• Hands-on experience with DAX and Power Query (M)
• Solid understanding of data visualisation and report design best practices
• Experience working with structured data and enterprise reporting environments
• Experience with data warehousing or ETL pipelines
• Understanding of data modelling concepts (e.g. star schema, relationships)
• Experience with Power BI Report Server or similar enterprise BI platforms
• Awareness of data governance, data quality, and cataloguing practices

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field.
