Role: Principal Firmware Engineer

Experience: 9-15 yrs

Location: Bangalore

Duties & Responsibilities:

• You will focus on building a set of pipelines for Firmware and Software agents, including security analysis submissions and software signing for internal and external builds.

  
  

• Interface to and support other firmware and software teams.

  
  

• Collaborating with Product Management and Manufacturing for product release activities

  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Embedded Development. Experience in C/C++.

  
  

• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux shell script, Python, Perl or other scripting languages

  
  

• Experience using Source Code Control systems, especially GIT

  
  

• Azure DevOps build pipeline experience.

  
  

• Software builds fault diagnosis and remediation.

  
  

• Familiarity with software build release management principles.

  
  

• Experience using CMAKE and related build tools and Linux containers.

  
  

• Experience using container-based systems like Lxd/Lxc, Docker, Kvm, etc.

  
  

• Significant, demonstrable Linux experience.

  
  

• Knowledge of SSH, Putty, scp and other Linux remote management tools

  
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

  
  

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  
  

• Strong oral and written communications skills

  
  

• Collaborating in a team environment
