Project Role : Process & Manufacturing Engineer
Project Role Description : Design and optimize chemical, thermal, and/or mechanical industrial processes from concept through commissioning, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Specify equipment, conduct risk assessments, and resolve process issues, while scaling and improving manufacturing workflows, tools, and quality standards to enable reliable, cost-effective production aligned with project objectives.

As a Process and Manufacturing Engineer, a typical day involves designing and refining industrial processes that integrate chemical, thermal, and mechanical elements from initial concept to full commissioning. The role requires ensuring that operations are conducted safely and efficiently while meeting compliance standards. Throughout the day, the engineer specifies appropriate equipment, performs thorough risk assessments, and addresses any process-related challenges. Additionally, the engineer works on scaling manufacturing workflows and enhancing tools and quality benchmarks to support consistent, cost-effective production that aligns with the overall project goals and timelines.

- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and timely resolution of issues.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Internet of Things Platforms.
- Experience in integrating Internet of Things technologies with manufacturing processes to enhance monitoring and control.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret process data and implement improvements.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment specification and commissioning procedures.
- Competence in optimizing workflows to improve production quality and cost-effectiveness.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Internet of Things Platforms.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
