Product Design Engineer - Electrical

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Product Design Engineer - Electrical based in Pune. You’ll support the design, development and continuous improvement of electrical systems across Aggreko’s manufactured product range, ensuring solutions are efficient, reliable and meet the evolving needs of our global customers.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, integrate and support validation and commissioning of electrical systems, including creation of specifications, schematics and test procedures

  
  

• Develop and maintain electrical CAD platforms (EPLAN) and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned to time, cost and quality targets

  
  

• Create and manage Bills of Materials and part specifications to support efficient manufacturing and assembly

  
  

• Provide electrical SME support across manufacturing, operations, RCA investigations and supplier engagement

  
  

• Drive continuous improvement across product design, ensuring safety, reliability, efficiency and adaptability to new applications and markets

  
  

You are:

• An experienced electrical engineering professional with strong systems and equipment design expertise

  
  

• Proficient in electrical CAD tools (EPLAN preferred) and confident working with engineering and PLM/MRP systems

  
  

• Knowledgeable in electrical controls, panel design, generators, motor control centres and drives

  
  

• Able to interpret requirements and produce detailed schematics, wiring diagrams and specifications up to 13.8kV

  
  

• A collaborative, adaptable team player with strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
