Job Description CIP – POS - Chargeback



JD overview



The Analyst will provide support in CIP, POS and Chargeback services that is aligned to Customer business needs and is delivered consistently across regions.



  • Support the CIP Annual Planning exercise, CIP Ongoing Management, CIP Payment/Settlement and CIP closeout and Communication Reporting
  • The Annual Planning include Kick off, CIP entry, Validation of CIP, Loading the plan onto the internal ERP systems
  • Releasing agreement for SAP and ensure Sales accruals, sales growth baseline creation, and confirmation of values with plan owners
  • As a part of CIP Ongoing Management, make any agreement changes as per requirement, issue credit note and communicate, initiate rebilling case and approve shopping cart and accrual procedure.
  • For Payment/Settlement, conduct the activities as (i) Claim payment (ii) Short Payment (iii) Rebate Payment
  • For closeout we need to complete the plan loading onto the ERP system following up with GL reconciliation
  • For communication and reporting monitor incentive accuracy, communicate incentive outcomes, issues and adjustments
  • Under POS conduct Channel partner onboarding/offboarding, communication and reporting activities, POS data collection (monitor incoming data, track monthly or yearly submission timeliness, escalate unresolved data or technical issues), data conditioning (Monitor queues, prioritize workload, execute pre-conditioning quality checks, work conditioning (matching) errors, post POS data for downstream usage by due date) and quality management (Execute E2E pre-posting and posted data quality reviews, escalate issues gaps).
  • Also for POS participate in tier escalation meetings and business touchpoints to ensure issues are communicated and resolved on time and in line with business requirements.
  • For Chargeback we need to conduct data collection and conditioning would require similar diligence as described under the POS activities.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications



  • Finance/Accounting/Management/Economics Graduate with Minimum 3 years of work CIP, POS and Chargeback
  • Working Experience in Tools like SAP (S4 HANA), Salesforce, Vistex, Power BI and Power Apps
  • Proficient in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Good communication Skills - English (Written and Oral).
  • Strong interpersonal and Analytical skills.
  • Flexible to work from any location and any shift timing
  • Require excellent Accounting skills
