Position Safety Officer
Qualification 1) Diploma in Safety; preferably from reputed organisations like RLI (OR)
2) Diploma in Fire & Safety from reputed organisations (OR)
3) NEBOSH certification.
Year of Experience Experience of around 5 to 6 years in industry, projects, service centers, exposure to construction and mining machinery preferable.
LanguagesEnglish, Hindi and local language (Read, write and speak)
Job Profile
Responsible for
1Regular shop/site visit to identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and addressing them
2Conducting Monthly Safety Audit at workshops, Site and Dealers facilities as per schedule and reporting
3Conducting regular training on various topics on EH & S, maintaining training matrix and training details MoM
4Safety reporting through EHS online portal, excel/ word formats
5Developing SOPs, procedures & documentation
6Motivating for Improvements and Suggestions on EHS
7Ensuring Housekeeping as per 5S guidelines
8Ensuring PPE Compliance
9Ensuring Resource consumption monitoring and conservation initiatives
10Ensuring legal compliance and maintain documents.
11Operation and miniatous of STP/ETP and Fire hydrant system
12Incident/Accident /Near Miss/Unusual occurrence investigation, establishing countermeasures and reporting
13Issuing work permits for identified critical and non routine activities to ensure Safety
14Organising EHS competitions, celebration and observation of important EHS days
