Job Title: REXX Developer (z/OS) Experience: 5+ Years Location: Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai Remote (US Timing) - IST 6.
30 pm to 2 pm Job Summary We are looking for an experienced REXX Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining REXX applications in IBM Mainframe environments.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Broadcom OPS/MVS automation rules , z/OS , DB2 , and SQL .
Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using REXX on IBM Mainframe.
Design and support Broadcom OPS/MVS automation rules for system automation and monitoring.
Work with z/OS system components and troubleshoot production issues.
Develop and optimize DB2 SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure system stability.
Prepare technical documentation and support production deployments.
Preferred Skills Experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and IBM Utilities .
Knowledge of Mainframe scheduling tools such as CA-7 or Control-M .
Familiarity with Mainframe source code management tools (e.
g., Endevor or Changeman ).
Experience working in Agile environments.
Required Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in REXX programming .
Strong knowledge of Broadcom OPS/MVS rule development and automation.
Good understanding of IBM z/OS operating system.
Hands-on experience with DB2 database development.
Strong proficiency in SQL .
Experience in debugging and resolving production issues in Mainframe environments.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
