This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 8+ years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time Key Responsibilities Design and implement backend services using the CAP framework on SAP BTP.
Develop robust data models with Core Data Services (CDS) and create OData services for frontend integration.
Optimize and manage databases, particularly SAP HANA, for enhanced performance.
Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using the SAP Integration Suite.
Develop and maintain APIs for seamless system communication.
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms via XSUAA.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and corporate security policies.
Perform unit and integration testing to guarantee application reliability.
Debug and troubleshoot issues in both development and production environments.
Collaborate closely with frontend developers, UX designers, and various stakeholders.
Document the development lifecycle, including design decisions and user guides.
Conceptualize, design, and implement modern microservice architectures on SAP BTP.
Develop custom software solutions, continuously optimizing for performance and scalability.
Manage projects from initial idea to successful go-live, leveraging a deep understanding of SAP BTP.
Conduct requirements analysis, technical design, and quality assurance for various software projects.
YOUR PROFILE Strong experience developing backends for web-based, scalable systems on SAP BTP with Java, JavaScript and optionally TypeScript.
Extensive experience with databases (particularly SAP HANA) and frameworks, with specific knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Integration Suite.
Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices on SAP BTP, including side-by-side extensions.
SAP certifications such as SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP HANA Cloud or SAP BTP Extension Developer are a plus.
