Specialist Cost Control

Summary Section

Looking for 0 to 4 years' experience for Project controls to support the Operation Team

Under direct supervision, you will perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts of Engineering & Project Controls. You will display core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage workload for small projects
• Develops and provides project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, and completion reports
• Reviews project costs incurred by category, calculates future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates and risk analysis
• To Support the Variance Analysis
• Support the Digital initiatives
• Provide forecasting guidance and projects for assigned projects
• Perform SOX reconciliations and project and process audits as needed
• Actively interfaces with both KBR and client personnel: Project managers, engineering work group leads, procurement specialists, and field execution personnel to obtain needed cost and schedule performance status updates for including into the integrated project performance reporting.

Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Any Associate's or bachelor’s degree in related Business
• One to four years of related experience preferred with any background.
• Must be knowledgeable in Engineering Logics
• Must be proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office products
• General AI Knowledge is preferred
• Creation of Pivot tables, Charts
  • LOOKUP functions, MATH functions,
  • Creation and edit of formulas for financial analysis
  • Filter, sort, conditional formatting
• Knowledge of a typical Work Initiation Request process: Creating work requests, tracking, and status reporting is required
• Excellent communication skills and ability to function within a project team
