Sr Associate, Web Strategy & Operations

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Global Customer Capabilities & Innovation (GCCI) team is looking for an experienced Senior Associate, Web Strategy & Operations (WSO). GCCI delivers efficient and consistent quality global marketing assets that scale across multiple channels & markets. As part of GCCI, the Senior Associate provides integrated end-to-end program and project management to ensure successful delivery of websites and bring thought leadership and drive delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Web Project Lead: Support the coordination and execution of cross-functional web projects across GCCI WSO, helping to ensure alignment on timelines, resources, and budgets for website enhancements and optimization initiatives. Partner with program leads to track progress, maintain alignment across initiatives, and identify potential risks, escalating as needed.
• Portfolio Prioritization & Planning: Support quarterly portfolio intake and prioritization across web initiatives in partnership with Technology and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy and value realization goals. Operationalize governance frameworks to evaluate demand, clarify requirements at a project level, assess cross-project dependencies, and align on delivery.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Assist in alignment and day-to-day coordination across cross-functional teams, including content, design, development, SEO, analytics, project owners, and platform stakeholders, to enable effective planning and execution of web initiatives.
• Program Governance & Risk Management: Oversee project health across initiatives by monitoring delivery progress, governance adherence, documentation standards, cross-project risks, issues, and change impacts throughout launch and hypercare.
• Website Performance & Analytics: Support the tracking and reporting of KPIs by analyzing web traffic, user behavior, and SEO metrics. Contribute insights to help improve site performance and inform operational reviews.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct functional testing and ensure adherence to agile web development processes, industry best practices, and high-quality standards.
• Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence: Support retrospectives, identifying improvement opportunities. Support the adoption of governance frameworks, templates, and delivery processes to improve efficiency and speed-to-market.
• Capability Enablement & Portfolio Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize the web portfolio to ensure alignment with evolving business priorities, resource capacity, and long-term digital strategy.
• Compliance, Risk & Operational Resilience: Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and brand standards across all web initiatives. Embed risk management into project governance to support sustainable digital operations.
• Web Operations:Support regional leads with the execution of operational activities to develop and maintain compliant websites such as access management, platform configuration, and risk assessments.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

Or

Master’s degree and 2 years of digital or web project management experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of digital or web project management experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 10 years of digital or web project management experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of digital or web project management experience

Preferred Experience:

• Digital Program / Project Management Expertise:
  Over all we are looking for 5-9 years of experience and with 3+ years of experience managing end-to-end digital and website lifecycle projects in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments, including complex, cross-country, and high-impact initiatives.
• Agile & Program Management:
  Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (preferably SAFe) with experience managing website roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives. Proficient in Program / Project Management tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Confluence, and Google Analytics.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
  Proven ability to negotiate priorities, manage expectations, and build productive relationships across diverse, cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Regulatory & Technical Acumen:
  Experience operating in regulated industries (preferably pharma) with understanding of compliance requirements. Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS), and industry best practices is a plus.
• Documentation & Governance:
  Experience developing detailed project documentation and translating business requirements into technical specifications.

  Effective communication, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration skills; able to convey complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical & Digital Expertise:
  Proficiency in web analytics, SEO, and UX/UI principles, with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights using digital marketing tools.
• Problem-Solving & Quality Focus:
  Advanced problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes while incorporating feedback.
• Adaptability & Growth Mindset:
  Proactive, inclusive, and flexible approach with a willingness to learn, experiment, and continuously improve. Comfortable working across time zones when required.
