Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Management professional to manage supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, cost evaluation, procurement support, and supplier performance management. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, procurement, and global suppliers to ensure cost-effective sourcing, timely deliveries, risk mitigation, and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Sourcing & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
- Benchmark OEM/OE parts to evaluate supplier competitiveness and market positioning.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and capability.
- Conduct supplier capability assessments and risk evaluations.
RFQ & Quotation Management
- Manage RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes with multiple global suppliers.
- Collect, review, compare, and summarize supplier quotations.
- Analyze supplier proposals and provide recommendations based on commercial and technical evaluations.
- Review Detailed Cost Breakdown (DCB) submissions and validate supplier costing structures.
Cost Analysis & Negotiation
- Perform quote normalization and landed cost analysis.
- Evaluate tariffs, duties, logistics costs, INCO terms, and importation charges.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
Engineering & Technical Analysis
- Analyze engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and BOMs received from engineering teams.
- Download and review drawings from PLM systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to clarify technical requirements and supplier capabilities.
- Ensure supplier quotations align with technical specifications.
Project & Supplier Performance Management
- Define project milestones, KPIs, and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor supplier performance against quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Track project timelines and proactively identify potential risks.
- Coordinate between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare cost comparison reports, sourcing summaries, and supplier evaluation reports.
- Maintain procurement records and supplier databases.
- Support management with analytical reports and strategic sourcing recommendations.
- Assist with administrative and procurement documentation activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Project Management are an added advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, engineering, or industrial procurement environments preferred.
