Title of Position           : Design Engineer

Department                  : Tool Engineering

Reports To                   : Technical Leader

POSITION SUMMARY:

To support the CS Global Tool Development teams in Tool design and development.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED:

• Responsible for Plastic Molding design and Mold feasibility study.

  
  

• Responsible for project planning and executions.

  
  

• To ensure the project quality as per the standards

  
  

• To meet the delivery deadlines.

  
  

EDUCATION (Qualifications obtained in the course of formal education and/or training)

Diploma / Post Diploma in Tool and Die.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in the Plastic Molding design & Mold feasibility study.

  
  

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

· Good knowledge in Plastic Molding design & Mold feasibility study

• Good skills in tool design using NX software.

  
  

• Good skills in design calculations(Shrinkage, Tolerances, Tonnage etc)

  
  

• Good knowledge in Tooling materials and material selection.

  
  

• Good knowledge in Tool manufacturing processes.

  
  

• Knowledge in Stamping die design

  
  

• Knowledge in gauge and fixture design and GD&T.
