Management Accountant

Industry: Food & Beverage Industry

Location: Malta

Basis: Full time

Remuneration: Salary

Main Duties:

• Prepare monthly accounts and supporting analytics per internal deadlines and policies
• Analyse financial variances and recommend management actions
• Support annual budgeting and periodic reforecasts alongside department heads
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure complete, accurate financial data
• Assist with financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards for business unit and group review
• Contribute to inventory valuation and cost control process maintenance and review
• Support financial system, process, and internal control improvements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures
• Liaise with auditors, providing required documentation and explanations promptly
• Partner with operational/commercial teams to guide decisions, efficiency, and profitability

What skills do you need?

• Be a fully qualified accountant
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent commercial awareness and able to interpret financial data in a business context
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach
• Proficient in financial systems, with advanced Excel capabilities
• Display excellent organisational and time management skills to meet tight reporting deadlines
• A positive team dynamic and supporting colleagues

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
