As a Data Engineer GCP, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines on the Google Cloud Platform environment. You will work in a data-driven transformation context, in collaboration with Data Science, BI, and IT teams.

Your missions include:

Design and develop robust and scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) on GCP.
Implement and maintain data architectures (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.).
Ensure data quality, security, and governance.
Participate in the industrialization of machine learning models.
Collaborate with business teams to understand needs and propose suitable solutions.
Document processes and stay updated on GCP tools.

Required skills

Technical:

Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer, Vertex AI.
Solid experience in SQL, Python, and orchestration tools (Airflow).
Knowledge of Data Lake / Data Warehouse architectures.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Cloud Build, GitLab CI, Terraform…).
Basic understanding of data security and governance.

To excel in this role, a higher education level, Bachelor's degree +5 or more, is required. A degree in Computer Science or Electronics will be particularly appreciated.

With 5 to 10 years of experience in data or Cloud Architect roles, you have developed solid expertise in managing and processing large volumes of data.

Essential skills for success include in-depth mastery of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem, particularly services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Storage. A strong understanding of data modeling principles, programming languages like Python or Java, and SQL and NoSQL databases is essential.
