As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and delivering timely solutions to maintain smooth operational workflows. The position demands continuous monitoring, analysis, and collaboration with different teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of critical software applications within the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Document findings and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Assist in the implementation of system updates and enhancements to improve performance and stability.
- Support junior team members by sharing expertise and providing guidance on technical challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong experience in debugging and troubleshooting SAP ABAP programs and HANA database interactions.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes of issues.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA architecture and optimization techniques.
- Experience in developing and maintaining custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements within SAP environments.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
