Devsinc is looking for a passionate Associate Software Engineer – AI/ML to join our growing engineering team.
In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI and Machine Learning solutions that solve real-world business problems.
You will work alongside experienced engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to build intelligent applications, optimize machine learning models, and leverage modern AI technologies, including Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain AI/ML applications and intelligent software solutions.
Build, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models.
Work with structured and unstructured datasets for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model development.
Design and implement scalable backend services to integrate AI models into production applications.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs for AI-powered applications.
Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver AI-driven solutions.
Implement and optimize NLP, Computer Vision, or Predictive Analytics models based on project requirements.
Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines where applicable.
Monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance, accuracy, and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across AI/ML pipelines and deployed applications.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards.
Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

0–6 months of experience (including internships, academic projects, or freelance experience).
Good understanding of Python programming.
Basic knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and algorithms.
Familiarity with at least one ML framework such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch .
Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Familiarity with SQL and databases.
Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
Understanding of REST APIs is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and willingness to learn.
Nice to Have Internship or academic project experience in AI/ML.
Exposure to Generative AI or Large Language Models (LLMs).
Familiarity with Prompt Engineering.
Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks.
Basic understanding of Docker or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience participating in hackathons, Kaggle competitions, or open-source projects.
