Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst / Data Scientist, you will be responsible for turning raw data into actionable intelligence. Your key duties will include:
* Analysing large, complex datasets related to customer behaviour, domain registration trends, and service usage to identify key patterns and opportunities.
* Designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence dashboards and reports for various stakeholders across the organisation.
* Developing and implementing statistical models and machine learning algorithms to predict outcomes such as customer churn, lifetime value, and potential security threats.
* Collaborating with product and engineering teams to provide data-driven recommendations for new features and service improvements.
* Conducting ad-hoc analysis to answer critical business questions and support strategic initiatives.
* Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by developing and implementing data cleansing and validation processes.
* Communicating complex findings and insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
We are looking for a professional with a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record of working with data. The required qualifications include:
* Proven professional experience in a Data Analyst or Data Scientist role.
* A degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
* Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
* Advanced programming skills in Python or R for data analysis and modelling.
* Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
* Solid understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and machine learning concepts.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
* The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
* Experience in the web hosting or domain industry would be a significant advantage.
