As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications:

We are looking for a motivated engineer to join our team building next-generation AI-driven security and software quality solutions. The role involves working on projects focused on static analysis, AI agents, developer productivity, vulnerability detection, and software security automation.

• Develop software solutions for AI-assisted security and static analysis workflows.
• Build and maintain Python-based tools, automation frameworks, and backend services.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into engineering workflows and developer tools.
• Analyze static analysis findings and help improve issue classification, triage, and remediation.
• Work with source code, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and software development tools.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on designing scalable and reliable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Git version control.
• Basic knowledge of software security, static analysis, or secure coding practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Exposure to AI/LLMs, Generative AI, or Agentic AI concepts.
• Experience with REST APIs, databases, or cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with static analysis tools such as Klocwork, Parasoft, Semgrep, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Interest in software security, vulnerability research, symbolic execution, or fuzzing.

• AI-native software development practices.
• Security automation and vulnerability detection at scale.
• Static analysis, symbolic execution, and fuzzing techniques.
• Building agent-based systems and intelligent developer tools.
• Enterprise-grade software engineering and platform development.
