Pre-opening opportunity as Executive Chef for a high-end Mediterranean concept, strongly influenced by Spanish cuisine to be opening in Karachi Pakistan.

This a 6-month contract responsible for developing the culinary identity of the restaurant, building the kitchen brigade, and delivering a world-class dining experience from concept through to successful opening.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all culinary aspects of the pre-opening phase
• Design and develop innovative Mediterranean menus with strong Spanish influences
• Create signature dishes that balance authenticity, creativity and commercial success
• Establish kitchen operating procedures, recipes, standards and systems
• Recruit, train and mentor the opening culinary team
• Manage supplier sourcing, product selection and procurement processes
• Oversee kitchen design input, equipment selection and operational readiness
• Drive food quality, consistency and guest satisfaction standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements
• Support the ownership team in delivering a successful and impactful restaurant launch

Candidate Profile

• Proven Executive Chef or Executive Sous experience within similar environments
• Mediterranean cuisine specialist with significant expertise in Spanish gastronomy
• Strong pre-opening experience highly advantageous
• Essential experience working within the Middle East hospitality market
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute high-end culinary concepts
