We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test strategies while collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
The QA Engineer will perform both manual and automated testing, identify and report defects, create detailed test documentation, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
The candidate should also be comfortable leveraging modern AI/LLM tools to enhance test case generation, test coverage, and overall testing efficiency.
Minimum Experience Required: 5 years Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Perform Manual Testing across web, mobile, and API-based applications.
Conduct Functional and Non-Functional Testing to validate application behavior, usability, performance, and reliability.
Execute Sanity Testing and Regression Testing for new releases and production deployments.
Perform API Testing using appropriate tools and methodologies.
Create and maintain comprehensive Test Reports and testing documentation.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
Utilize LLM/AI tools to generate, review, and optimize test cases and testing strategies.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
Participate in release validation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Skills Manual Testing Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.
Expertise in Manual Testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience in writing detailed and comprehensive Test Cases and Test Scenarios.
Ability to create and maintain Test Reports and testing documentation.
Testing Types Functional Testing Non-Functional Testing Sanity Testing Regression Testing API Testing Tools & Platforms Strong hands-on experience with Jira for bug tracking, project management, and test management workflows.
Experience using AI/LLM tools (e.
g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for test case generation, test design, and productivity enhancement.
Automation Testing Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress automation frameworks.
Experience in Mobile Automation Testing using Appium.
Ability to design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites.
Additional Preferred Skills Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities simultaneously
