Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Installation Engineer - Electrical to oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure electrical works are executed in accordance with project specifications, applicable standards, safety requirements, and approved quality procedures.

The role requires strong technical expertise in electrical systems, project coordination, site supervision, testing & commissioning, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor electrical installation activities at project sites.
• Ensure all electrical works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and material submittals.
• Perform site inspections and verify installation quality.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Support testing and commissioning activities for LV, MV, and related electrical systems.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Identify project risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company quality procedures.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in electrical installation, construction, testing, commissioning, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure, utility, industrial, energy, or electrical distribution projects is preferred.
• Proven experience in site supervision and project execution.
