Building Management System (BMS) Technician

The Building Management System (BMS) Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Building Management Systems (BMS) and associated building automation equipment. The role ensures the reliable and efficient operation of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, lighting, and other integrated control systems, while complying with technical standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.

• Follow all relevant technical procedures, work instructions, and maintenance standards to ensure work is performed in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Perform daily operational and maintenance activities related to Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Monitor and operate BMS equipment, HVAC systems, lighting controls, and other integrated building systems.
• Diagnose system faults and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on BMS equipment and control devices.
• Repair or replace defective components, perform system adjustments, calibration, tuning, and lubrication in accordance with technical manuals and manufacturer recommendations.
• Interpret technical drawings, control diagrams, equipment specifications, and maintenance manuals to perform installation, alignment, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Verify maintenance results by testing system performance and monitoring equipment to detect potential failures or abnormalities.
• Use specialized testing, measurement, and calibration instruments to inspect equipment and ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Record maintenance activities and report equipment faults, abnormalities, and deviations from planned work in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and other departments during maintenance and repair activities.
• Comply with all applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, Building Automation, or a related technical field.

• 1 years of experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), or facilities maintenance.

• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and building automation.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Experience using testing, calibration, and measurement instruments.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management systems.
• Good command of English.
