Job Overview
Nevertiti Star Trading, a dynamic and growing Dubai-based company specialising in trading and distribution, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounts and Audit Executive to join our finance team. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting our continued growth within the UAE market.

Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
* Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
* Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
* Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared.
* Perform regular bank reconciliations and manage cash flow to ensure operational efficiency.
* Ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations, including the accurate preparation and filing of VAT returns.
* Analyse financial data to identify trends, create financial forecasts, and provide strategic insights to senior management.
* Maintain organised, accurate, and confidential financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in a similar accounts and audit role, preferably within the trading or distribution industry.
* A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is highly desirable.
* In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and UAE corporate and tax laws.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) and advanced skills in MS Excel.
* Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
