What youwill do

We are seeking an experienced and proactiveField ProcurementBuyer toberesponsible for sourcing materials and services, managing supplier relationships, supporting project and operational procurement requirements, and ensuring compliance with Johnson Controls procurement policies and procedures. The role works closely withinternal and external stakeholdersto secure competitive pricing, optimize total cost of ownership, mitigate supply chain risks, and support project profitability.

The Buyerwill be based in our Al Quoz, Dubai office andwillbe responsible forend-to-end procurement activities, includingbut not limited to quoteevaluation, negotiations, supplier performance management, andensuring timely delivery of customer requirements.

Howyou willdo it

• Contribute to Procurement targets such as generating savings,improvingcompany trade working  capital and expandingproject margins;

  
  

• Prepares, executes, and analyzes competitive bidsutilizing RFxand supportingcommercial negotiations relating to pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contractual agreements.

  
  

• Align with existing category strategies toleverage negotiated agreements, reduce procurement risks, improve supplier performance, ensure compliance, and maximize overall value

  
  

• Identify and support cost reduction, value engineering, and process improvement opportunities.

  
  

• Collaborate with suppliers and JCI teams to develop strongbusinessrelationships;

  
  

• Participate in supplier reviews and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing performance and reducing risk.

  
  

• Work effectively withvariousJCIProcurement systems, tools, & ERPs;

  
  

• ApplyJCIprocurement processes and understand their interaction with otherworkflowswithin the organization;

  
  

• Be cognizant ofsupply chain risks, including shortages, capacity constraints, long lead-time items, and sole-source dependenciesand escalate as needed;

  
  

• Gainknowledge and understandingsupply chain principlesto support internal audits and associated action plans;

  
  

• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance procurement and supply chain performance.

  
  

What we look for

Essential

• Minimum3years' experience inaBuyer, Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain role.

  
  

• Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  
  

• Experience operating within aField ProcurementorProjectenvironment.

  
  

• Strong supplier management and commercial negotiation skills.

  
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  
  

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  
  

• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  
  

Preferred

• ProcurementExperience withHVAC, Controls and Security-relatedcategories.

  
  

• Knowledge ofIscalaERP platform.

  
  

• Existing or actively pursuing professional procurement certification.
