Erada Center for Treatment and Rehab in Dubai was established based on the vision of H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and by the initiative of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. It aims to treat the disease of substance use disorders and alcohol addiction which negatively impact the wellbeing of individuals, families and society. Erada Center is a governmental entity committed to offer treatment and rehab services; promote awareness about addiction and to contribute in the scientific research in the field of addiction.

Organizational Unit; Detoxification / Rehabilitation/ outpatient section

General Job Description:

To provide cost-effective, high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring optimal clinical care that enhances patient satisfaction and safety per approved policies, procedures, nursing standards, professional ethics, and environmental health and safety regulations.

Tasks:

·Responsible for implementing and delivering patient care following the center policies, procedures, and scope of services.

·Act as a clinical nurse to meet patient needs, providing care and identifying necessary and urgent medical interventions.

·Prioritize patient care based on ongoing assessments of unit needs.

·Communicate with the medical team about ongoing changes to treatment plans.

·Ensure patient and family health education using available center resources.

·Responsible for receiving, storing, and ensuring the availability of medications and medical equipment as per center policies and procedures.

·Collaborate with other medical services (e.g., Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Support Services) to ensure service provision needs are met.

·Document nursing care provided in electronic patient medical records as per the center policies.

·Comply with the center infection control policies.

·Participate in committees, task forces, and other organizational activities as assigned by the center.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Health Sciences Management, or an equivalent field, along with specialized certifications in the same field.

Experience:

Minimum of 4 years of experience post-graduation, including 2 years in the same field.
