We are currently recruiting for PMC Lead Engineer Digitalization role to support our ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. 

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at our client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities:

Objective

The PMC Offshore Lead Engineer – Digitalization is responsible for leading the digital engineering strategy, implementation, and integration for offshore oil & gas projects during FEED, EPC, commissioning, and handover phases. The role ensures the effective use of digital technologies, engineering information management systems, digital twins, BIM/3D models, data analytics, and smart asset solutions to improve project execution, operational efficiency, and lifecycle asset management.

• Develop and implement the project's digitalization strategy.
• Lead digital engineering activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensure alignment with client digital transformation objectives.
• Establish digital workflows, standards, and governance.
• Manage engineering data and document management systems.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate engineering data exchange between EPC contractors and the client.
• Oversee metadata management and information lifecycle.
• Lead the development and implementation of Digital Twin solutions.
• Ensure integration of engineering models with operational systems.
• Coordinate digital asset handover requirements.
• Validate Asset Information Model (AIM) deliverables.
• Supervise 3D model coordination.
• Ensure clash detection and model quality.
• Support BIM execution planning where applicable.
• Review model maturity throughout project phases.

Systems Integration

• Coordinate integration between:
  • Engineering databases
  • AVEVA solutions
  • Hexagon SmartPlant applications
  • Bentley platforms
  • SAP
  • ERP systems
  • CMMS
  • GIS
  • SCADA
  • DCS
  • Historian systems

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Develop engineering dashboards and KPIs.
• Monitor digital performance metrics.
• Utilize Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent visualization tools.
• Support predictive analytics initiatives.

Offshore Project Support

• Support offshore construction and commissioning teams.
• Ensure digital systems are available during offshore execution.
• Facilitate remote engineering collaboration.
• Support digital permit and inspection systems where applicable.

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Review contractor digital deliverables.
• Audit digital execution plans.
• Participate in technical bid evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with client digital specifications.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with:
  • ISO 19650
  • ISO 55000
  • ISO 15926
  • Client digital standards
  • Company procedures
• Conduct digital maturity assessments.

Handover

• Lead digital asset handover.
• Verify final engineering databases.
• Ensure completeness of As-Built digital information.
• Support operations readiness.

Expected:

• Minimum 15+ years in Oil & Gas engineering atleast 8+ years in offshore projects.
• Minimum years leading digital engineering teams.
• PMC experience preferred.
• Experience in FEED and EPC projects.
• ADNOC or similar operator experience is advantageous.
