We are hiring a Principal Platforms Architect to join a leading cloud computing and artificial intelligence organization in their Abu Dhabi office.

Our client works within the national technology ecosystem to build secure private cloud solutions for highly sensitive UAE entities across government, financial services, and healthcare sectors.

The core platform is already live for select users while the platform as a service layer is in its early stages, allowing you to join at the ground floor and shape its foundational architecture.

Discover the Role

As a Principal Cloud Platforms Architect, you will hold a senior enterprise-level technical leadership position responsible for defining the long-term strategy and governance of Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.

You will bridge the gap between software architecture and solution design, working closely with development teams to productize cloud services. This role offers significant executive exposure where you will define and present the overarching cloud vision to stakeholders and shareholders rather than focusing on daily hands on coding.

Discover the Requirements

• Extensive experience in infrastructure and cloud platform engineering with a focus on designing large scale Kubernetes and OpenShift environments

  
  

• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes cluster provisioning and fleet management using tools like Gardener or Kamaji

  
  

• A proven track record in highly regulated or enterprise environments such as financial services, healthcare, or government

  
  

• Strong foundational experience being deeply hands on earlier in your career, moving into enterprise architecture and design leadership

  
  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present technical roadmaps and risks to executive teams
