Senior Aircraft Cleaning Coordinator

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To supervise and coordinate aircraft cleaning activities, ensuring all assigned aircraft are cleaned safely, efficiently, and in accordance with airline, airport, and safety standards while leading cleaning staff during daily operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises and directs aircraft cleaning teams during shift operations ensuring all cleaning is completed as per flydubai standards.
• Allocates staff duties and monitor performance to ensure timely aircraft turnaround.
• Ensures aircraft cabins, galleys, lavatories, seats, carpets, overhead bins, and crew areas are cleaned to required standards in alignment with flydubai Appearance standards
• Conduct pre- and post-cleaning inspections of aircraft to verify that the aircraft is ready and complies with flydubai Appearance standards.
• Ensures compliance with airline procedures, airport regulations, and health & safety standards.
• Monitors availability and proper use of cleaning materials, equipment, and PPE.
• Reports any damages, safety hazards, or security concerns immediately and ensures timely action.
• Maintains attendance, shift reports, and operational records.
• Trains, coaches, and motivates cleaning staff on operational procedures and service quality expectations.
• Ensures all cleaning activities are completed within allocated turnaround times.
• Sets Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)to technically evaluate services provided by the contractor/cleaning teams.
• Assist in incident investigations and preparation of operational reports when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
• Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)
• Previous experience in aircraft cleaning, aviation services, or housekeeping operations with 2 years relevant experience of which 1 years should be from the aeronautical industry covering a combination of experience in tasks related to aircraft maintenance. Minimum 2 years supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of airport safety and security procedures.
• Basic computer knowledge for reporting and scheduling.

ISR REQUIREMENTS
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
