A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

1. Responsible for receiving, storing, accounting and issuing of materials and supplies.

   
   

2. Inspects suppliers' delivery of materials and supplies for conformity with quantity and quality specifications. 

   
   

3. Issues materials and supplies per approved requisitions. 

   
   

4.  Keep records of materials received or issued.

   
   

5. Initiates purchase requisitions for materials and supplies.

   
   

6. Conducts monthly inventory of materials and supplies comparing stock card balances.

   
   

7. Store separately special projects materials

   
   

8. Maintains spare parts manuals, catalogues and list of suppliers.

   
   

9. Prepares itemized weekly expense report for Purchasing Manager review.

   
   

10. Attends to all type of materials and supplies requirement in the hotel premises, including any new additional / extensions to the hotel or any other properties maintained by the hotel.

    
    

11. Ensures that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair. Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering a guest rooms or public areas.

    
    

12. Observes prescribed safety standards. Helps maintain safe conditions for self and other.

    
    

13. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
