Role description: Arcadis is seeking a self-motivated Bridge CADD Drafter to join our growing Bridge Engineering team Toronto West office in Ontario, Canada.
In this role, you will help shape the cities of tomorrow by developing high-quality structural drawings for critical infrastructure projects across Ontario.
Role accountabilities: In this role, you will lead Drafting and Modeling efforts by developing detailed plans and models for bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other civil structures using MicroStation and AutoCAD .
Your work will support the preparation of clear, accurate, and constructible design documentation across a range of infrastructure projects.
You will also provide critical Engineering Support by carrying out bridge geometry checks and material quantity calculations.
This aspect of the role will call for strong technical judgment and close attention to detail to help ensure designs are efficient, practical, and aligned with project requirements.
Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will contribute to Clash Detection by coordinating with roadway, civil, and utility teams to identify and resolve design conflicts early in the process.
Your collaboration will help strengthen design integration and support the smooth advancement of projects from development through delivery.
In addition, you will take ownership of Quality Control by reviewing drawings for accuracy and confirming compliance with municipal and provincial drafting standards.
You will also support Team Collaboration by serving as a technical resource, helping to streamline plan production and contribute to successful project delivery from preliminary design to final submission.
Qualifications & Experience: Education: Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Civil Design Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional CAD design experience Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation is required; basic Civil 3D skills are essential Local Standards: Knowledge of MTO (Ministry of Transportation Ontario) and municipal geometric design standards is highly beneficial Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Why Arcadis?

The salary range for this position is $52,000 - $79,000.
The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position.
Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
