We are looking for an AML Officer
who will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and reporting suspicious financial activity while ensuring the company complies with anti–money laundering regulations and related financial crime laws.


Responsibilities


  • Review and investigate AML alerts, unusual transactions, and suspicious activity.
  • Handle AML escalations from Onboarding, Customer Support, Operations, and other business units.
  • Conduct transaction monitoring reviews and identify potential financial crime risks.
  • Support the preparation of SARs/STRs and escalate cases to the MLRO where necessary.
  • Perform customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews.
  • Assist in maintaining AML/CFT policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Participate in AML risk assessments and compliance monitoring activities.
  • Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and remediation projects.
  • Prepare AML-related reports and management information.
  • Deliver AML guidance and training to employees when required.

Requirements


  • 2–5 years of AML/CFT or financial crime compliance experience.
  • Strong understanding of AML regulations, CDD/EDD requirements, sanctions, and transaction monitoring.
  • Experience investigating AML alerts and conducting risk-based assessments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
