JOB TITLE
Data Privacy Specialist | MAF Entertainment | Legal
ROLE SUMMARY
This role supports the Privacy Officer in implementing, monitoring, and enhancing the organization’s data protection framework. This role is operational and cross‑functional, ensuring privacy compliance and assisting functions where needed. The role will handle assessments, support privacy operations, manage records, coordinate with system and data owners, and help ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws (UAE PDPL, Egypt PDPL, GDPR, etc.).
ROLE PROFILE



  • Implement and support the organization's data privacy framework, policies, and guidance.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate personal data protection and privacy risks.
  • Drive data privacy compliance, ethics initiatives, and coordination across business functions.
  • Conduct privacy assessments, including DPIAs, IDPAs, vendor due diligence, transfer impact assessments, and contract reviews.
  • Manage Data Subject Requests (DSRs) such as access, deletion, correction, and consent withdrawal.
  • Maintain privacy governance activities including ROPAs, data mapping, consent management, and privacy operational tools.
  • Act as a privacy subject matter expert, supporting stakeholders, regulatory interactions, and business development projects.
  • Deliver privacy training, support breach and incident management, and contribute to reporting, forums, and continuous improvement initiatives.


REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Compliance, Information Security, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Data Privacy, PDPL (UAE & Egypt), GDPR, and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience using privacy management platforms such as Securiti.ai, OneTrust, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong knowledge of privacy assessments, ROPA documentation, data discovery, and third-party privacy risk evaluations.
  • Understanding of privacy contracts and frameworks, including DPAs, TIAs, SCCs, DSAs, MSAs, PIAs, and service agreements.
  • Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration skills, and privacy certifications (CIPP/E, CIPP/M, or CIPT) are an advantage.
