Director, Infrastructure

JOB TITLE
Infrastructure Director | MAF Properties | Communities Development Egypt
ROLE SUMMARY
The Director will lead the end-to-end infrastructure development lifecycle, including planning, design, approvals, utility coordination, consultant procurement, infrastructure tendering, and construction oversight. Coordinate with development teams, authorities, utility providers, and project delivery teams to ensure seamless integration and successful delivery of site-wide infrastructure works.
ROLE PROFILE

• Develop and manage the overall infrastructure program, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
• Lead infrastructure design from concept through detailed design and tender documentation.
• Prepare consultant briefs and manage technical consultants supporting development planning.
• Coordinate infrastructure design with project delivery and construction teams.
• Drive authority approvals for roads, structures, and wet & dry utility networks.
• Oversee infrastructure budgeting, cost planning, and financial performance.
• Support contract negotiations and the successful execution of key service agreements.
• Lead and manage project management teams to deliver infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to approved quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: 10+ years of infrastructure design and project delivery experience, with mandatory Egypt market exposure and a proven track record on large-scale developments.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; postgraduate qualifications and professional engineering/project management certifications are preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in roads, bridges, structures, and wet & dry utility infrastructure, with experience reviewing consultant designs and managing large infrastructure projects.
• Project & Financial Management: Skilled in infrastructure planning, budgeting, cost control, tender evaluations, contract management, and financial project reporting.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage consultants, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Core Competencies: Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, reporting, and organizational skills, with advanced proficiency in Primavera or Microsoft Project and a focus on value engineering and design optimization.
