Inventory Control Associate Manager | MAF Entertainment | Cinemas
ROLE SUMMARY
The role of Associate Manager Inventory Control is to ensure the inventory database is accurately maintained and stock takes are completed according to the established policy. A key aspect of the role is maintaining the stock levels within the budget set by the business. Minimizing the wastage, variance and controlling the cost are foremost KPIs for this role.
ROLE PROFILE



  • Manage cinema inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted operations and an excellent customer experience.
  • Oversee purchasing, replenishment, storage, and stock allocation while maintaining compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and OHS regulations.
  • Monitor stock takes, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with Cinema Managers and Inventory Supervisors to resolve inventory issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, POS systems, ordering systems, and SKU management within approved inventory parameters.
  • Control COGS, minimize wastage, stock variances, and losses while ensuring purchases remain within approved budgets.
  • Conduct stock spot checks, validate inventory transactions, monitor product quality, expiry dates, and profit margins.
  • Manage and update Vista and POS systems, investigate operational anomalies, and implement approved inventory system changes.
  • Prepare and present inventory, sales, stock take, and cost analysis reports, providing action plans to improve performance and reduce variance while ensuring workplace safety compliance.


REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Hospitality, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of inventory management or supply chain management experience within a food service or retail environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while demonstrating teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.
